  Job Summary:

The Human Resources Representative will function as a HR subject matter expert on all people issues to ensure we attract, develop, and retain the best talent and fuel the continued growth of the organization. The Human Resources Representative is responsible for assisting operations personnel with compliance, policies, and procedures.  Pay range $59,675 - $83,545.

 

Duties/Responsibilities/Essential Functions:

  • Advise managers and employees on state and federal leave laws, company policies, workers' compensation, and short-term and long-term disability benefits.
  • Analyzes data to advise leaders on market salaries, candidate availability, and demand for candidates in particular fields in partnership with the Human Resource Business Partner(s).
  • Assists with the development of job analysis including job descriptions and compensation.
  • Provide HR Reports to operations, acquisitions and accounting teams where needed to accomplish broader goals of organization, Board, and divestiture.
  • Provide documentation/information to employees regarding Severance Packages including but not limited to severance pay. 
  • Have knowledge of COBRA benefits and provide information to employees.
  • Develop, recommend, and implement personnel policies and procedures; prepare and maintain handbook on policies and procedures; partner with legal to help draft and/or recommend revisions to Company Handbook to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local laws and regulations.
  • Aide in the processing of the payroll to ensure payroll is completed efficiently accurately within the given timeframe.
  • Acts as the trusted advisor, coach, and facilitator to meet the needs of talented development across all employee levels to include performance management, employee engagement, inclusion and diversity initiatives, succession planning and talent acquisition.
  • Partners with leadership team on change management to ensure there is success from a people perspective. Accesses readiness levels, suggest potential risk mitigation actions, recommend communication plans, gets feedback, and keeps stakeholders informed and engaged to keep initiatives moving forward.
  • Provides counsel and support to department heads, regional managers, and managers.
  • Communicates effectively in writing and verbally to all levels of the organization as well as with external contacts with varying professional disciplines.
  • Plans, develops, organizes, implements, directs, and evaluates the organization's human resource function and performance.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

  • Bilingual a plus.
     

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree or 2+ years of equivalent experience.

  • Prolonged periods of sitting, using hands and fingers to handle or feel objects, (including using tools or controls customary to the position), standing, walking, kneeling, and reaching or lifting with hands and arms.
