Job Summary:
The Lease Administration Analyst plays a critical role in managing lease and rent operations across Inspire Communities. Acting as the central point of contact for lease compliance, rent adjustments, and database accuracy, this role ensures financial and legal integrity in all lease-related activities. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and skilled in managing complex lease data while supporting community and regional managers.
What You'll Do
Lease Compliance & Legal Coordination
- Interpret lease terms and advise on rent, property issues, key dates, and provisions.
- Ensure lease documents comply with applicable state and local laws.
- Coordinate with legal counsel on rent increase letters and policy notices.
- Prepare, distribute, and reconcile rent increase notices in compliance with regulations.
- Support audits and promote consistency and transparency in lease policies.
Rent & Fee Management
- Partner with community managers to convert renters to homeowners, ensuring accurate rent, fees, and deposits.
- Resolve ledger discrepancies, mischarges, late fees, and payment issues.
- Audit resident accounts, deposits, and ABN homes.
- Communicate utility fee changes with the utilities team.
Data Accuracy & Reporting
- Audit lease data and reports to ensure accuracy and support forecasting.
Lease Administration & Resident Support
- Maintain lease files, support system processes, train staff, and assist with application and move-in/move-out workflows.
What We're Looking For
Required Skills/Abilities/Knowledge:
- Must be proficient in all Microsoft Office applications and applications related to the specific position
- Strong knowledge of lease terms, legal compliance, rent programming, and housing regulations.
- Proficiency in lease management software (e.g., ManageAmerica)
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively across departments.
Supervisory and Managerial Responsibility:
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in real estate, Business Administration or related field preferred or equivalent experience.
- Experience working with legal counsel and regulatory compliance.
- 2+ years of experience in lease administration, preferably in manufactured housing or residential property management.
- Training or experience in auditing and financial reconciliation.
